Cloud4Y Earns PCI DSS 4.0 Certification

Cloud4Y has successfully passed an audit and obtained a certificate of compliance with the latest PCI DSS 4.0 standard. This new version, which will become mandatory for all payment system participants in 2025, replaces the current PCI DSS 3.2.1 standard that has been in effect since 2018. The updated standard introduces stronger payment data security requirements, provides more innovative security methods, and places a greater emphasis on addressing emerging threats.

PCI DSS 4.0 mandates a more detailed threat analysis and a more personalized approach to security. It also expands the baseline of operational and technical requirements for improving payment security and prescribes specific methods for controlling known threats.

For Cloud4Y, successfully completing the audit demonstrates the high level of our infrastructure's security and its compliance with these new, stringent requirements. Despite the elevated standards and more complex audit procedures, Cloud4Y proved it has all the necessary features and processes in place to ensure robust data security.

The audit was conducted by Compliance Control, a QSA-certified auditor specializing in payment data security. The resulting certificate confirms that our data center and cloud infrastructure meet the highest standards for protecting cardholder data, as required by international payment systems such as Visa, MasterCard, MIR, and others.

This PCI DSS 4.0 certification opens up new opportunities for Cloud4Y's customers. Companies that need to comply with the standard can now launch their projects faster by hosting infrastructure in a certified Cloud4Y data center.
