The VMware vCloud Director® 8.20 solution makes it easy for cloud service providers to manage and operate virtual data centers (VDCs) for multiple consumers. The solution can automate the creation of VDCs based on consumer resource needs and assign the appropriate policies necessary to maintain a proper allocation of resources. The vCloud Director solution also provides a unique portal for consumers to manage various cloud services and workloads on their own. vCloud Director 8.20 is a milestone release that adds new networking services that support advanced workload management, improve security, and provide multiple ways to connect remotely with a hybrid cloud model.
